Selected work

Firstleaf

Lead Engineer, then Engineering Manager · 2019–2026

Subscription wine e-commerce. I owned the customer-facing Gatsby/React storefront on AWS — refactoring it for performance against real user-flow data, building the shared component library, and cutting release friction in CI. Later I built the SEO platform on top of a 1.5M-wine reference database, reconciling it against a ~10,000-wine internal Postgres catalog where a wrong attribute means the wrong bottle in someone's box.

FNTECH conference platform

Lead Software Engineer at Tipit · 2014–present

An open-source, microservices platform — 31 public repos — that runs the full lifecycle of a conference: venue and room setup, call for presentations, track-chair selection, schedule, registration and ticketing, badges and signage, a sponsor-services marketplace, meeting-room booking, emails, on-site check-in with badge printing, mobile apps for lead scanning and access control, a native attendee app, and the event site itself, with live streaming and chat. I built the frontend: the back-office React app organizers live in all day — dense tables, deep forms, long-running approval workflows — most of the apps around it, and the reporting API.

Side projects

Small tools I built for myself this year, working with Claude Code as a pair.

Job Scout

An AI pipeline for my own job search. One agent searches about ten job boards and hiring platforms — LinkedIn, Remotive, YC, We Work Remotely, Greenhouse, Lever and more — for fully remote roles posted in the last week. A second agent scores each one from 1 to 10 against a profile file: a verdict (apply, consider, discard), where I fit, the real gaps, and the reasoning, with bonus points for what I care about, like US companies or gaming and chess. A React dashboard shows the results with filters.

Recetario

A family recipe book. Paste a link to any recipe and Claude turns the page into structured ingredients, with normalized units, and steps; I used the same parser to import an old cooking blog. It also plans a balanced weekly menu, lunch and dinner for seven days, from your own recipes, following rules like how often to have red meat, fish or a vegetarian dish and avoiding recent repeats. Any slot can be reshuffled, and recipes can be shared by email.

SuperScout

Compares prices across Argentina’s big supermarket chains — Coto, Jumbo and Carrefour — promotions included. Headless-browser scrapers read each site and turn promo badges like 2x1, 3x2 or a discount on the second unit into structured data, running every night over current offers and a list of staples. Build a cart and see what it costs at each supermarket.
